It is not how we fall – but how we get back up – that marks our path to recovery following a crisis. At 1st Watch Secure we are committed to helping you develop successful Emergency Response Plans which allow effective and efficient recovery should an incident occur, while minimizing the impact to your staff, your business, and your wellbeing.
A key purpose of any Emergency Response Plan (ERP) is the ability of the organization to recover from the event. Our team will work with you to prepare for, respond to and recover from a wide range of emergencies, including localized acts of nature, accidents, and physical or technological attack.
We will review your current Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) to ensure Primary Mission Essential Functions (PERF) of your organization continue to be performed during and after any crisis or serious interruption. This includes advising on the development of plans, improvement of existing plans, identifying and equipping a back-up operations center, and implementation of testing procedures.
During any significant interruption it is necessary that everyone understand your command Structure – that is, who is responsible for ensuring specific steps are taken? Who must report to whom? Who has final authority for decisions that can make the difference between corporate survival and failure? We document and answer these critical questions to ensure an effective chain-of-command is followed in the event of a crisis, meaning everybody knows what to do, when to do it, and where to go.
Workforce Resilience is a critical part of a well devised COOP Plan. In addition to a well- considered ERP, and a backup facility, an effective recovery plan must address the state and wellbeing of the affected workforce. It is strongly recommended that a review of your current COOP Plan includes a review of your plans to address a traumatized workforce. The sooner your workforce recovers the sooner your operations will return to business as usual.
